UI/UX Audit for a Dairy Farm Web Application

Recently, our team conducted a UI/UX audit for a web application designed for dairy farms. Below, we break down the process, key findings, and common usability issues we encounter across digital products.

What was the goal of the audit

Our goal was to identify usability issues and highlight opportunities to improve both user experience and business efficiency.

Our UI/UX audit process

The audit process consists of three main stages:

1. Research

We explore the client’s industry, target audience, and core product features to understand the context.

2. Interface Analysis

We review user flows and identify friction points that may affect usability and conversions.

3. Reporting

We document all UI/UX issues and provide clear, actionable recommendations for improvement.

6 common UI/UX issues we see in most products

Based on our experience, there are recurring problems that appear in many interfaces.

1. Information overload

Poorly structured content overwhelms users and makes it harder to focus.
Recommendation: Group data into clear sections and separate primary and secondary information.

2. Confusing navigation

If users struggle to move through the interface or understand controls, conversions drop.

3. Poor use of negative space

Too little spacing creates visual stress.
Too much makes the interface feel incomplete.

4. Lack of consistency

Examples include:
Buttons with different styles
Dropdowns that look like buttons
Recommendation: Apply consistent visual and interaction patterns across the product.

5. Poor color choices

Low contrast reduces readability and weakens CTA visibility.
Recommendation: Improve contrast and use color intentionally to guide user attention.

6. Weak mobile experience

Interfaces that are not optimized for mobile lead to poor usability and drop-offs.
The final step is delivering a clear and actionable report. We prepare it in Figma, keeping it easy to navigate and ready for PDF export.
If you notice declining user engagement or conversions, don’t panic — start with a UI/UX audit. It’s a fast and cost-effective way to understand what needs to be improved in both design and development.
